AI tools
Let your AI tools work with your business data
Connect Cursor, Claude Code, or any tool that supports MCP to your workspace. It gets its own identity, sees only what you share, and stops for a person's approval before risky steps.

Your tools, connected to the work your team runs
You decide how far each connection goes. Reading and writing records works out of the box. Changing your system, workflows, and the assistant need advanced access.
Ask about your data
“Which orders from this customer are still open?” The tool searches, filters, and summarizes the views you shared with it.
Create and update records
Add records, change fields, and write comments on a record, from the tool your team already works in.
Shape your system
With advanced access, the tool can add tables and columns, build views and dashboards, and set up business rules.
Start and write workflows
Run a workflow or a record button on demand, or have the tool draft a new workflow for you to review.
Hand over to the SAPUGO assistant
Describe a job in plain words and let the built-in assistant do it, within the limits you set.
Work through approvals
Give a tool its own approval requests to decide, so routine sign-offs don't wait for a person.
How it works
Set up in a few minutes, without code
- 1
Create an application
An application is the tool's own identity in your workspace, separate from any team member. Name it after the tool or team that will use it.
- 2
Decide what it may do
Share the views it needs and choose its scopes: read, write records, change the structure, run workflows. A new application can only read.
- 3
Issue a key and paste the connection
Copy the connection snippet into your AI tool together with the key. The key is shown once and can expire on its own.
- 4
Watch it work
Every call appears in the application's activity list. Revoke the key or disable the application at any time.
Stay in control
An AI tool is never more powerful than you allow
Connections follow the same rules as the people in your workspace, and then some.
Its own identity
A connected tool never borrows a person's sign-in. You can see, limit, and switch it off on its own.
Your permissions still apply
Hidden fields stay hidden and rows outside a view's filter stay out of reach, for a tool exactly as for a person.
Scopes, databases, and addresses
Grant only the kinds of work you want, limit a key to chosen databases, and allow it only from the addresses you name.
A person approves the risky steps
Deleting a table needs confirmation. Anything that would send data out of your workspace waits for a person to approve it.
A record of every call
The activity list shows which tool did what and how it ended, so you can check its work and spot surprises early.
Limits that protect the team
Each key has its own budget per minute, so one busy tool can't slow everyone else down.
FAQ
Questions about AI tools
Step-by-step setup for each tool is in the documentation.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools use other software through a defined set of tools. SAPUGO speaks it, so any tool that supports it can connect with an address and a key.
Which AI tools can I connect?
Any tool that supports MCP over HTTP and lets you set a request header, such as Cursor, Claude Code, and VS Code. The documentation has a ready-made setup for each.
Is it available on my plan?
Yes. Connecting a tool to read and write records is part of every plan, with no extra setup on our side. Advanced access, which adds structure changes, workflows, and the SAPUGO assistant, is switched on per workspace. Write to us to ask for it.
Can a tool see everything in my workspace?
No. It sees only the views shared with its application, with the same hidden fields and row filters that apply to people. A new application can only read.
Can a tool delete my data?
Only if you give it the scope to change records, and only through the views it can reach. Deleting a table or column needs an explicit confirmation, and SAPUGO takes a backup first where data could be lost.
What does the AI tool do with the data it reads?
That depends on the tool and its provider, so check their terms. Share only the views a tool needs, and prefer read-only access until you trust it.
Where is my data processed?
SAPUGO handles every call in the EU, like the rest of your workspace. What an AI tool does with data after it has read it is up to that tool.
